If you’re anything like me, you don’t have a lot of time to sit around creating images (or you don’t want to spend your time that way). The truth is that most of us don’t have a background in graphic design….and yet social media demand more and more visual content today. So what do you do?
Use mobile apps!
Mobile apps allow you to create incredible images on the go in just seconds. And people respond to them!
I posted this image a few days ago. It only took me a couple of minutes to create it in the app on my iPhone. The app even provided the quote. And it reached over 800 people.
There are a ton of apps out there though, so choosing the right one can be a little overwhelming. Check out my top three favorite mobile apps for creating visual content.
You may have heard of this app, as it’s been around for a while and has become pretty popular. It’s very simple to use. Select one of their backgrounds, search pixabay for an image or upload one from your own phone. Then add your own text or use one of their quotes, select the font style and change the image filter and text color and you’re done.
It’s not a free app but it is very low cost and the cost is more than worth it when you consider the time savings.
This is my new favorite mobile app for creating images. Again, it’s not a free app, but it has more image options than WordSwag. Not only do you get to choose from a large selection of text styles, it provides other text tools like text gradients and the option to rotate your text to make it 3 dimensional. Like WordSwag, it offers filters, but it also offers unique overlays to help you create a truly one-of-a-kind image.
3. Word Dream
This one is a FREE app. You only pay when you start adding extra text styles. Even then, adding all of the text styles is very inexpensive.
This app has more color selections than any other the other apps and allows you to have multiple colors in the font, itself. I also think the font styles available in Word Dream are more unique than any of the other apps.
One app I do use that’s a little more complicated (but only because it has SO MANY FEATURES) is Rhonna Designs. One thing this app does that the others don’t is add unique, beautiful borders. I would actually say that the fonts with this app are the most beautiful, but many do have to be added for an additional cost. If you feel like you want something different than you may want to give this app a try!
Are you using any of these apps right now? Or do you have another that you recommend? Would love to hear from you!
